People, one thing that I learned about installing these things is that the fireplace must first be cleaned. Hire a chimney sweep before installing the pellet stove. You do not want soot and dirt to come into contact with your pellet stove. Besides, there might be birds and animals which may have lived in your chimneys so make sure that you remove them first before putting your stove insert inside of the fireplace.
